  • Choose from one of the following options:
    • A pre-installed solution with a trusted host

    • Download the zip file and do it yourself

After downloading the WooCommerce plugin, go to your website and complete the following steps:

  • Go to: Dashboard > Plugins > Add New > Upload
  • Select the downloaded plugin
  • Once installation is complete, select “activate”
  • Once your plugin is activated, your will be directed to launch the Setup Wizard. The Setup Wizard is a great tool that will help guide you through all of the required steps for setting up your web store. After clicking begin, the wizard will automatically generate a shopping cart, checkout, and user account pages for your store.

You’ll then be able to adjust your store’s basic settings, including which currency to use. On the next screen, you’ll be able to decide whether to charge sales tax, and determine what shipping features you’d like to require. Lastly, you can select which payment methods you’d like to accept.

STEP 6: ADD YOUR FIRST WOOCOMMERCE PRODUCT

The final step before you’re officially ready to start selling is to get your products up on your site! To do this, go to your WordPress dashboard and find the new Product tab. Clicking on it will open up a new page that allows you to add in your first product.
